Since 2008, a˛ hotelconcept has been working with the Polz brothers and sisters to revitalize the area around the Thallern monastery winery and create a tourist highlight in the Vienna area. Step by step, the 868-year-old winery is being renovated and made accessible to visitors. The start marks the opening of the Thermenregion vinotheque on June 17, 2011. Wines from more than 30 wineries as well as culinary specialties from Lower Austria are on offer. In addition to the vinotheque, a˛ hotelconcept designed a wine academy including seminar rooms and exhibition areas as well as a gourmet culture hotel in the chapel built in 1516.
